The Goodness Spirit |The Honey Bulb

Those who know me know that I am completely captivated by goodness. As a Christian, God’s goodness and Spirit sustain me. Psalm 23:6 describes God’s infinite goodness towards us:

Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

It’s amazing to me that God is always watching over me, guiding and sustaining me with His goodness, while I reflect His character with my life.

While as a man here on the Earth, Jesus perfectly taught us about God’s goodness for us. And with His Holy Spirit, my eyes are opened to His continuous, infinite goodness.

fullsizeoutput_65cOne of my favorite Bible Verses is on the Fruit of the Spirit (Galations 5:22-23). I am continually going back to the Fruit of the Spirit over and over again because they fill my heart with such joy and peace.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.

These are amazing character traits that I admire in others and reflect in my life.

Goodness springs me to be the very best that I can be in my Christian walk, to walk and talk and do everything Christ calls me to do and see God’s goodness in everything.fullsizeoutput_64cHow about you? How can you reflect God’s infinite goodness in your life and love for others? How can you recognize God’s goodness in your life?

One way you can recognize God’s goodness and also reflect on His goodness is through prayer. Prayer opens up our Spiritual eyes to see God’s work and hand in our lives.

Through prayer, you can also share God’s goodness with others!

Walking through life with a Goodness Spirit is one of the most important parts of the Christian walk, always reflecting the light of Christ to others.
