When it comes to a perfect recipe, you can’t go wrong with this one, especially for the Summer!
Here’s why: You can serve this as a warm pasta dish or chilled pasta salad!
Because of the white sauce and Rotini Pasta used, as well as fresh tomatoes and green peppers, this recipe works perfectly served as a warm or chilled dish!
For a refreshing summer meal, serving this dish as a pasta salad is great, but what really makes this a great dish is that it can also be served as the perfect recipe to transition from Summer to Fall!
Rotini Pasta Dish with Bacon, Fresh Tomatoes and Green Peppers
-1 Package of your choice Rotini Pasta (For this recipe I used Whole Grain Rotini Pasta)
-White Sauce of your choice
-Fresh Chopped Tomatoes
-Fresh Chopped Green Peppers
-Fresh Cilantro for added taste and garnish
-Begin by adding your desired amount of water, a few drops of olive oil, and salt together into a pan, bring the water to a boil.
-Add the Rotini Pasta of your choice into the boiling water and cook pasta (For this recipe I cooked the pasta al dente).
-While you are cooking your pasta, prepare your Bacon so that it is crispy. Once your bacon cut the bacon up into small pieces to be mixed in with your sauce and pasta.
-After your pasta is ready, combine the pasta with your sauce and bacon pieces and transfer the combination into your serving dish.
-Add your fresh chopped tomatoes, green peppers, and cilantro to your dish.
-Serve right away as a warm pasta dish or chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to serve as a pasta salad!
-This recipe works great served with grilled chicken or shrimp!
