Fashionista in the Sea. This is something you probably have not heard before.
Well if you have read my other articles here on The Honey Bulb, you may have read about how when I was in High School I started a blog called Fashionista in the Sea.
Being a Fashionista in the Sea meant that I was a girl with a purpose. I actually started the blog because I was trying to figure out what to do with my talents and abilities.
For me being a Fashionista in the Sea was much more than just fashion. It was all about me developing my skills and figuring out what I was meant to do in my career.
I love to write, I love to be creative, and most importantly I love to encourage.
So I put those together to create something that I wanted to help guide me into what I was to become.
A Fashionista in the Sea.
Now, it’s early into 2019 and I am sure that everyone is working hard on their New Year’s Resolutions and what they want to accomplish this year.
For me? I want to be three things this year. Creative, Imaginative, and Visionary.
Working on Fashionista in the Sea helped me know what I was capable of doing, and now as the Founder of The Honey Bulb I get the chance to continue my journey into being creative, imaginative, and visionary.
How about you? Are you being a Fashionista in the Sea? Are you setting out to discover what your purpose is in having your gifts and abilities?
This year I am keeping an open mind to all that God wants to do in my life and how He wants to use my gifts and abilities. I am putting before Him The Honey Bulb and every aspect of my life!
Here are a few Bible verses to encourage you in your walk in finding your purpose too!
“Seek first the kingdom of God and what He wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.” Mathew 6:33
“I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8
